Did you guys see something here that I didn’t? This video was made to show the positive side of Hamilton. Who are you arguing with? If you can’t find anything to do, or you have trouble meeting great people, its because of who you are. Toronto, for example, has a loan shark and pawn shop on every street. ‘low-income’ businesses are your next door neighbours! And for Gods sake why would you live somewhere for TEN YEARS if you don’t like it?

Nice vid. Hamilton DOES have a lot to offer; however, poor governing will continue to cripple our image and tourism industry without an outside-in perspective. The irresolution on moving Ivor Wynn was a perfect example. Unfamiliar tourists exit the highway to sit in stop and go traffic on dilapidated Barton St, jump a curb and pay to park on a half way house’s front lawn, then again follow Barton St on the way out of town without any true representation of what the city has to offer.

I love Hamilton. I moved here from Toronto 10 years ago and I haven’t regretted it. The naysayers are full of it. Get out of the house and open your mind. There’s a lot more to downtown than “loan sharks, pawn shops and low income businesses”. Beautiful architecture, art galleries, shopping, high frequency public transit, theatres, and pubs come to mind on many different corners of the core. You have to be blind or ignorant not to notice them.

@PrismaMD Everything needs improvement. Just as everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Why are you so passionate about arguing on Youtube? Take it up with the proper interest groups and use your hard work for change. How does it benefit Hamilton to agree with you that its in decline? Still a nice video.
