Some street names have been changed from their original names.

Discussion

Many citizens still remember the old names. His-toric Preservation involves all aspects of the past, not just the physical artifacts.

Recommendation

At the request of the residents (put to a local vote), Spanish Town and Beauregard Town should be able to reinstitute street names.

Project Status

The Historic Spanish Town Civic Association has voted to put dual names (new and historic) on some street signs on a trial basis.
